    1. Re: [GAGEN] FW: [BOARD] Voter Registration - Closing DateforRegistration iscoming up soon

    3. Ed, Just to clarify for everyone, the form being used is actually to receive an ID# and password so that you can go in and check your current registration information and make sure that it is correct. Keeping this ID# and password will allow members to make sure their information stays up to date with the EC - ie, email address changes and membership status changes. If your information is not correct when you access it in this manner then you will not receive a voting password when the time comes. For newer members or older members who never registered to vote, this same page allows you to register now. You should then receive confirmation of that along with an ID# and a password to access your voting registration. Please remember these passwords are not your voting passwords. That will be a separate correspondence from the EC at election time. It would be prudent for all members to check their registration for accuracy, and for those new members who have not registered to vote in the annual election to do so promptly to secure your right to vote. There are important issues to be decided, and every vote is needed so that the views of the membership are known. This evening I was able to check my own registration and found the process very easy. With the help of the EC Chair, these are the instructions to register and update your membership: Register to vote and/or Update your membership: http://www.usgwelections.org/USGenWeb/Register.cfm 1.
