In John Copeland Todd's will dated May 23, 1925, he leaves his African American servant Pearl Pace land on the West side of Lakeview Avenue 150 feet South of Greenwood Avenue where she was living at the time. This section was once on the West siide of Ponce de Leon Ball Park. Today of course it would be Midtown Place where the Home Depot and Border Books stand. Has anyone ever heard of this area being called Rooster Foot? I know Jonh's father, Richard Copeland Todd had slaves and I believe they lived in the area bordering today's Midtown and Virginia-Highland Neighborhood. Some old timers remember Rooster Foot but I want to know where it was. Ann in Atlanta
