Marcene, My ggrandfather died in a field hospital in Atlanta. He is buried in the Confederate Section of Oakland Cem. in Atlanta. Try there. He was listed on the roster as M. C. Heflin. I believe he wrote his name as Mc Heflin and recruter and subsequent persons wrote it at M. C. initals. My burning question is how do I find where he was buried? Does anyone know?
