I have a relative who died in Atlanta during the Civil War. I was wondering if there was a way to find where he was buried. Let me Explain: My relative Henry McDonald Heflin--who called himself "Mack"--was in Co I, 37th Mississippi Inf . He died of sickness 28th Jan 1863, Fair Ground hospital No 1 in Atlanta Ga. He was listed on the roster as M. C. Heflin. I believe he wrote his name as Mc Heflin and recruter and subsequent persons wrote it at M. C. initals. My burning question is how do I find where he was buried? Does anyone know?
