I found out today that if you go through the Atlanta Journal-Constitution website http://www.accessatlanta.com/partners/ajc/, then hit obits, you will come up with a list of websites. Go down the long list and you will find Ancestry.com. One of those sites happens to be ancestry.com's GA Marriages database. You can acess it for free from the newspaper website, just when you imput a surname and you want to check for more or for different spellings, hit your back button. Hitting perform a new search will tell you that you have to be a premium member to search the records. This database was free for 10 days when ancestry.com first introduced it, so try it through the newspaper. I had pretty good luck this afternoon. Mary Anne
