Brotherton is an old Atlanta name. I believe their are several Brotherton's buried in Oakland Cemetery. William H. Brotherton became alderman for first ward in May 1882. He died in 1908. His son Frank M. Brotherton, stove and furniture dealer and prominent church and fraternal work died in 1939. Ann in Atlanta
