Also I would like to point out that almost all funeral homes in Ga, certainly in the Atlanta Area have been bought out by big Corperations. H.M. Patterson is one of them. These people that now run the funeral homes (on site funeral directors) are not Genealogist friendly and go by coperate policies rather than the way the old fashioned family owned funeral homes did, So when the corperate bought out the family owned funeral homes The old ways went with them. Other word, If your not spending money on a funeral They could careless....Have a family member pass away a week after you ask and get rudely turned down, Then they kiss your feet.
