The city will not send workers as this is an on going legal manner and the city attorny will stop it. It took me 3 years to get them to do it with HillCrest and now Volunteers do it on ocassion. There is no reason to envolve The city with HillCrest. Since it is an abandoned priviate cemetery no one has ever had a problem with us going into . The city doesnot need to be contacted as it is a private cemetery, The city has no granting power with this particular place. They will however need to be contacted for only the Connally family cemetery as they have the deed and key to the gate. The Better way to go about this is thru Ora Jean Gunnin at the East Point Historical Society. Trust me haveing worked on this for years the city will only try to complicate things.The historical society will be the ones to contact avd since I have contact I will be glad to ask when Im there next week.
