Read this is Kenneth Thomas' column in the Atlanta Journal this AM. http://www.accessatlanta.com/living/family/genealogy/index.html Records office moved Georgia's Vital Records Office, formerly located on Trinity Avenue just south of the state Capitol and near the Georgia Archives, has moved and is scheduled to reopen Oct. 16 at 2600 Skyland Drive, Atlanta, near the Brookhaven MARTA station. This is the location of all state copies of birth and death certificates since 1919. A microfiche index to death certificates is available for purchase and can be found at many local libraries and archives. To read an actual death certificate you have to purchase a copy of it.

    3. Joyce, Will you please tell me how to get to the new location. I have got to come to Atlanta next week and I wanted to get my grandmothers death certificate. I will be coming in on I 20 East .
