Hello, I'm new to this list, have a new lead bringing me to Fulton County, and hoping someone out there has a piece of the puzzle I've been looking for. My beloved grandmother is 90 years young and would love to know where her grandparents are buried. I've been looking for Hale GIPSON, but now I've learned from a distant relative that his name might have been George W. (Washington?) Hale GIPSON. His wife was Mary DEAN. A search on ancestry.com found death record of George W. GIPSON, Jan. 31, 1925, in Fulton County, GA, and a death record of Mary B. GIPSON, Oct. 1, 1923, in Fulton County. The time frame is about right based on my grandmother's childhood memory. Their daughter (granny's aunt) lived in Fulton County. Could it really be??? This could be a major breakthrough! Does anyone have any info on this couple? Cemetery records? Deed records? Wills? Anything? Would love to find their graves. By the way, I subscribed to this list 5/12. Received the e-mail notification that I was subscribed. I then went to the Fulton County, GA, Query forum at GenConnect and posted there because it was supposed to also be sent to this mailing list. 3 days later it still hasn't come through to the list, at least not to me. So...I've been patient as long as I can stand and I apologize in advance if it finally comes through and you receive this twice. I've been looking for Hale and Mary for so long and patience is not one of my virtues :-) Thanks for reading, Pam
