Re the question about Fannie Veal b. abt 1857, dau of Joseph Veal, who married James Casey, I have no knowledge. They could be related to our Veals. I haven't actually researched the Veal line. I know that my husband's mother was Clara Elizabeth Veal, b. 8 May 1899 in Ardmore, Carter Co., OK. Her father was George C. Veal, b 15 Jun 1874 in GA, d. 5 Aug 1969, buried in Ardmore, Carter Co., OK. One of Clara's six siblings was Fred Veal, b. 9 Nov 1901 in GA, d.. 6 Feb 1997 in Atlanta, GA. That is the extent of my knowledge, except that I know the names and approximate birthdates of the other five siblings. If anything here sounds familiar, we would be interested in making connections.
