No names are mentioned in the article so I don't know which grandparents they were. I am searching for information about Wesley HAGAN. Wesley was born May 31, 1882 in Atlanta, Georgia. In an Atlanta Constitution newspaper article one of his sisters stated their father owned a general store at 100 Whitehall Street and that the Hagan's lived in the next block. She mentioned the grandparents of Margaret Mitchell lived next door. I am not sure but my guess is all the siblings were born in this house. Wesley HAGAN married Margaret Schmidt in 1903 and they lived some of their lives in Atlanta. Wesley died in 1932. I would like to know where Wesley and Margaret lived and raised their children. Does anyone have access to City Directories and could do a look-up for their Atlanta address? Tks, Fred

Abouth MM's grandparent--Must be Russell Crawford and Deborah Sweet Mitchell because her mother's partents--John and Annie Fitzgerald Stephens lived in the old Jackson Hill neighborhood in the northeast side of town. Dear Rose, Don't apologize - I'm very interested in any information regarding Atlanta, too. Certain most of the list is as well. I can never resist looking at old photos for sale on eBay as well as in antique shops in the Alanta area. I keep hoping I'll find someone I know. Ann, if you have information regarding time frames regarding when Atlanta area photographers were active, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks to everyone! Carole
I may having something around here about that house. Do ya want me to check it out? Ann in Atlanta

Ann, I see that you seem to be very knowledgeable re: Atlanta History/genealogy. Do you have anything on the family of Samuel House whose old homeplace at the corner of Ashford Dunwoody and Peachtree Rd subsequently became the site of the Peachtree Golf Club?
