Seeking information regarding Richard Carnes, b 1774, NJ. In Franklin Co. GA by 1800 with wife Delphia b VA. Lived on Shoal Creek remainder of his life. Probably had brothers in Franklin Co at same time, perhaps Wells, Holloway, John. Children of Richard and Delphia were: Wells b 1804, Holloway b 1798, Richard b 1813, William b 1805, Samuel b 1819, Salies or Sarah m. Green C. Walters, Elizabeth "Betsy" b 1825,Lydia b 1818, Hugh b 1815. They all lived in Franklin and Hart Co, GA and have many descendents there still, I am sure.
