I know that Abel Howell (prob. son of Thomas Howell of Wilkes/Elbert) and Abel's wife Anna (dau. of Martin Deadwyler of Wilkes/Elbert) were in Franklin Co. in 1830. That much is known. From Franklin records I have HYPOTHESIZED the following: Abel had a brother named Patrick Howell. Abel and Anna had the following children: Jesse Howell who m. Lavinia; Annie Howell who ma 1818 William Jones in Franklin; Nancy Howell who m 1834 Alexander Powers in Franklin; Sarah Howell who m 1832 John Ray in Franklin. Can anyone substantiate or refute any or all of my hypothesis, or otherwise give me any scrap of information on these folks? Thanks for any help......Rozier
