Hi Cathy, I'm also researching James R. Haley who possibly married Elizabeth Pharr. Their daughter Sarah "Sally" Haley was my g-g-grandmother. James b. 1767; d. abt. 1852 in Franklin County, buried Haley Family Cemetery. Is this the same James R. Haley?
