My gg grandfather Joseph Power came to Franklin Co. Ga. from Laurens District, S. C. around 1813. According to the tax records, Alexander Power was also there along with some other Power families. I believe this Alexander Power was a brother to Joseph Power. If anyone else is researching any Power or Powers in Franklin County or surrounding counties, please write me direct.
