Hello. I'm looking for info on the following family. James M. J. "Jim" Whiten/Whiting son of Oliver Whiten and Rachel Holcomb (daughter of Hampton Holcomb and Elizabeth Waters). James was born in 1859 died 1931. He married Amanda Phillips. I have absolutely NO info on her. Any info appreciated! The Whiten/Whiting family may have originated in Pendleton District of SC and migrated to Habersham and Franklin Counties. Thanks. Teresa
