    1. Grave Site of Patriot Richard B. Hooper
    2. I am researching the life and death of Revolutionary War Veteran Richard Brooks Hooper, b. 17 May 1756 and d. aft. 1840 and buried in Banks County, GA. I have come to the understanding, through several published sources, that Richard B. Hooper is buried in an old family cemetery on the old Miller/Kesler farm on a hill dividing Banks and Franklin Counties about two miles south of the Stephens County line. This land was originally owned by James N. Miller, father-in-law or Richard Brooks Hooper. I have also come to the understanding that a Lelia Spearman, w/o E. E. Mitchell of Toccoa, GA, properly marked the grave of Patriot Richard B. Hooper with a DAR marker. I have never been to Banks County nor have I seen pictures of the cemetery or this Daughters of American Revolution marker that was placed there to honor him. I was wondering if anyone or any organization has taken pictures up there of the cemetery and especially the grave of Richard B. Hooper and his wife, if so I would love to get a copy of the picture(s) of the gravesite and cemetery so I can see what the site looks like where my ggggg-grandfather is buried. Any information and help would be greatly appreciated. Yours truly, Robert C. Johnston, Jr. 284 Redland Downs Trail Wetumpka, AL 36093 USA rcj@mindspring.com
