Lois' parents were Thomas Ezra Walters (b. apprx. 1882 or 1883 d. 12/17/1963) and Ida ADAMS. Ezra and Ida married 11/30/1907 in Toccoa, Stephens Co. Georgia. Ida died when my grandmother Lois was young. Ezra then married Lena Smith (b. 10/30/1892 d. 11/1975). Ezra and Lena married in Toccoa, Stephens Co. Georgia 10/11/1930. My grandpa Earnest grew up in Gumlog, Franklin County, Georgia. A lot of my GARNER relatives are buried in Poplar Springs Baptist Church cemetery--I believe this is in Franklin County. This is all I know. I haven't been able to locate information on Henry GARNER or Mary A. STOVALL. Also, I haven't located any information on Ida ADAMS and her ancestors.     3. Tammy, Your Henry was the brother to my G-G-Grandmother Lucinda Garner. So we are cousins. Below is what I have on his family. Would love any additional info or corrections. Notes for Katherine Davis: Katherine Davis' father was possibly Henry Davis. He lived about 2 miles away from Sturdy and Katherine in 1810 in Union County, SC. He also appeared as witness to Lewis Garner's will and in other connections with the Garners in Union County, according to "Southern Garners". pg 103. Was known as a good riddle and story teller. Her great nephew Dan Harrison, said that he remembers her telling a story about a mad dog that tried to bite her and she killed it with her walking stick. Dan also remembered hearing her family laughing about the time she wanted to plow with a mule like the men folk did, and the mule decided he wanted to go back to the barn instead of plowing, and Aunt Martha was too small to make the mule behave and it just walked back to the barn with her struggling to hold the plow up and not fall down as they went.
