For information contact From: "Bob Austin" <bob.austin@twrci.com> I am trying to verify the parentage of James Russell Madison Randall b. Franklin County January 1857. I have been told that his father was Charles W. Randal who married Elizabeth Dean in 1855 in Franklin County. Charles died of Typhoid fever in 1861 while in the Confederate military service. I can not find Charles and family living as a family unit in the 1860 census. But, other things lend credence to Russ's being son of Charles and Elizabeth Dean. Her father was James M. Dean the there was an other family member named Russel, perhaps her brother. I know this is circumstantial evidence, but after months of searching, it is all I have come up with. any help will be greatly appreciated.
