    3. Happy Holidays, I know I've not seen hardly any posts lately and I'm hoping that you guys are still reading any queries that might come thru. I am trying to find out if any of you "COUSINS" of mine, related to me thru Elias Sanders b 1775, have seen or have copies of the original land records for Elias. I'm "not" talking about the one's that mention him and his father-in-law, Thomas Carter, Sr. These are land records for Thomas Carter, not Elias. If anyone has them or has seen them, please email me. If you don't have them and live near the Archives, and you don't mind looking for Land Deeds, Headright Grants or whatever it might be, let me know as I will pay for it but living in Dallas,TX, it's not that easy for me. Sure I could order it but I want to try this first as it cost more to order from the Archives when you live out of state. I'm also not talking about the lottery lands that he won in 1821 and after as I know where that land is located. I'm trying to determine when Elias might have first got land in GEORGIA and where that land was located. I'm sure this land, if he had a deed to it vs inheriting it, was the land he lived on in what was FRANKLIN CO, to become ELBERT CO, and eventually, HART CO, GA. We've all heard he got land in Elbert Co in 1807/08 and the deed is said to be on file with the Secretary of State but the Archives should have those records, shouldn't they. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyone knowing the answer to that can email me back, please.
