I'm looking for information on my ggg grandparents Braddock and Rachel Hickerson Harris(s). The info I have is that they moved tfrom Laurens Co. S.C. to Franklin Co, Ga abt 1815. They lived abt 20 miles west of Carnesville on the Grove River. Question; Is there a Grove river about 20 miles west of Carnesville? Is it still in Franklin Co or is it now in Banks Co? Rachel died abt 1822 in Franklin Co. Where buried? Braddock and Rachel's children were Jennie, John Lane, Mollie, Nancy, Sally,Stephen, Braddock Jr and Little (Litle, Lytle, Lytal, etc). Little and Braddock Jr married sisters Anna and Avey Handley abt 1825 in Franklin Co. Handley family? In the 1827 Georgia land lottery Little won land in Coweta/Heard Co. and Braddock won land in Troup/Meriwether Co. Braddock Sr was living in Cowets in 1830. Little and Braddock Jr moved from Heard Co to Alabama abt 1843. Any info on the above questions or people would be appreciated. If you need any info I have, please let me know. Thanks, Gil Harris
