    3. My great grandfather, Almon Cannon, was born in Georgia at a place unknown, but possibly Walton County, on June 13, 1812. He and his older brother, Elijah Cannon, b. 1809 moved to Bedford County, Tennessee in the early 1830s. Almon Cannon remained in Tennessee for the rest of his life, dying in 1896. Elijah moved to Lincoln County, Tennessee before 1850 and remained there for the rest of his life, dying in 1879. I think that their parents may have been the Henry Cannon that married Polly Martin in Clarke County, Georgia on 24 February 1808. A Henry Cannon was listed in the 1820 census of Walton County. I do not have access to that census. Would someone please give me the information for the Henry Cannon household? Thanks! Was this the same Henry Cannon who resided in Franklin County, Georgia in the very early 1800s? There were also living in Franklin at that time a Thomas Cannon and a William Cannon. Were they brothers of Henry? A Mary/Polly Cannon was head of household in DeKalb County, GA in the 1830, 1840 & 1850 census tabulations. Is this Mary/Polly Cannon the same person as Mary/Polly Martin? A Mary Cannon filed as administrator on the estate of William Cannon in DeKalb County in February 1830. Was she married first to Henry and second to William Cannon? Is Henry Cannon listed in the Estate records of Walton County? A Theophilus Cannon was born in Walton County on 24 November 1824. He was raised as a "foster" child by Elizabeth Gill and William Brand II. Who were his blood parents? He named his 7th child Thomas Almon Cannon. A William Augustus Cannon was born,I think) in Walton County. He was the son of Thomas Cannon and Sarah (Hudson) Holder. They were married in Newton County, Georgia Any help on any of these persons will be greatly appreciated Doug Foster
