    2. For Teresa: The "History of Banks Co., GA." book lists Kimsey Segars as a member of Co. D 43rd Reg. GA--Volunteer Infantry--Army of Tennessee. CSA "Middle River Volunteers". From the "History of Franklin Co., GA" book: Segars~ Of English, Irish and German descent, the Segars have spelled their name many ways through the years. James Mason Segars, son of Able and Lila Jackson Segars from SC., was born 11-12-1838, died 11-5-1905. He married Sarah Kesler, dau. of George Kesler b. 1837 d. 1924 bur. New Salem Cem. m. 1860 They had five boys and five girls. It goes on to give their lineage..... James Mason could be John Kimsey's brother....it you want the rest of the article just let me know. Williams: Nathaniel R. (Snap) Williams b. Ga 1817 (possibly a son of Robert, oldest son of Nathaniel aand Susanna Williams) m. Malinda Cummings of S.c. in 1843. Nine children survived infancey. The 1860 census lists 8: James Warren 15; Elizabeth 14,Samuel 13, Marion 10, Amberilla E. 9, Daniel Lafayette 7, Martha 4, Joh B. 3, Nathan Irving William b. 1860 is listed on 1870 census aged 10.
