Seeking information regarding Richard Carnes, b 1774, NJ. In Franklin Co. GA by 1800 with wife Delphia b VA. Lived on Shoal Creek remainder of his life. Probably had brothers in Franklin Co at same time, perhaps Wells, Holloway, John. Children of Richard and Delphia were: Wells b 1804, Holloway b 1798, Richard b 1813, William b 1805, Samuel b 1819, Salies or Sarah m. Green C. Walters, Elizabeth "Betsy" b 1825,Lydia b 1818, Hugh b 1815. They all lived in Franklin and Hart Co, GA and have many descendents there still, I am sure. Henry Cannon lived in Franklin County, Georgia in the very early 1800s. I believe that he was also the same Henry Cannon who married Polly Martin in Clarke County, GA on 24 February 1808. GA around 1885 and served as pastor of several Baptist churches in Franklin, Habersham, Banks, and Stephens Counties in the late 1800's. Particularly interested in information about Andrew's son, Robert L. COBB, who moved with his father and died in Franklin Co. in 1900. I have William Henry Kesler died 1802 in Newberry SC His descendants settled in GA and SC and Ill. Abraham Kesler was in old 96 Dist and Pendleton Dist SC. David went to Illinois. Wm. Henry Jr, was in Fr. Co until his death. My group was in Franklin Co GA and were in the Prospect community from about 1828 in Fr. Co. GA.
