I'm researching the WILEY family in Forsyth County. Thomas WILEY moved to GA from Roane/Anderson Co., TN around 1822. He was first in Gwinnett Co., where he appears in the census of 1830, and then in the Forsyth Co. census of 1840. Sons James, Alexander, John, and William R. WILEY were also in Forsyth in the 1840s. William R. WILEY was in Forsyth Co. until about 1859 when he joined his brothers in Alabama. Allied families are AUTRY, BENTLEY, DODD(S), CROFT, and FARRIS Mary Wiley Campbell
