On the Alpharetta Historical Society webpage, in Tim Spruell's "Alpharetta Communities" under "Shakerag", he tells of the John ROGERS house as being the oldest in Fulton County. Can anyone tell me *exactly* where it was first located and where it is currently located? (I live in the area so I am familiar with the streets). I would also be interested in communicating with anyone researching this ROGERS line. Although I do not believe I am related, we have many ROGERS. Was John's father the Jacob ROGERS who died in Cumberland Co., NC c. 1774? What was John's relationship to the Robert ROGERS who married Lucy CORDERY, ancestor of Will ROGERS? Thanks.
