Can someone give me any advice on where to look for pre-1900 divorce records in Georgia (Forsyth County, I imagine)? My grandfather's brother, James Berry Roach, Jr. was married Edna McDaniel, my grandmother's sister, in 1886. By 1890, Berry Roach was living in Arizona and he soon remarried. They had to have been divorced sometime between 1886 and 1890, but I have no idea of the date or where to start looking for the divorce record.
