Hi Margaret, Thanks for the offer! Looking for Cowan/Cowen/Cowin somewhere in GA between 1820 and 1850! MARRIAGE was ca 1830 (GA) and kids born 1832-1854. Most of the kids were born somewhere in GA, but the last one was born in LA. (I've found records of the kids in LA but absolutely nothing in GA yet...) My ancestors were ELIJAH and Sarah COWAN but I'd be interested in any Cowan/Cowen/Cowin listings. There were 2 other Elijah Cowans that I know of--one who died ca 1812 and one who wasn't born till ca 1819 - mine was born ca 1800 maybe in NC?
