COCHRAN b: October 19, 1815 in NC/Ga. and Rebecca [Cavender] b: Abt. 1831 in Ga. m: July 23, 1846 in Lumpkin Co., Ga. I have the Cochran line pretty good too, thanks to information from a Bible that was sent to me. Have no death dates for Henry P and Rebecca, however. If someone knows that, I would appreciate the information. Every year, 2nd Sunday, we have a Garrett Reunion. I have been attending since 1961 when I went as my husband's date. He is not listed in household of John Garrett in 1850 or in 1860, but is listed as one of "Grandpa Garrett's (Elze.L) siblings on the Garrett Family information given out at one of the reunions probably in the 1960's or early 70's. He could have died in infancy?? Or could Thomas B be Thomas R. and he was called Richard?? GIP? I am sure that Gip is a nickname that may well belong to one of the children listed by name. Do not know which one he is. Based on the process of elimination, it is not George, Tom, Van, Jack, or Richard, since they were named on the Garrett family sheet from the Runion along with Gip. So that leaves Seaborn or Guilford, names I did not have until I received the information from Sharon B. Williams Mar 1, 1999.
