Donna, Would you have anything else on this Christopher WHITMIRE. He was married to Nancy Reese. They had 6 children. They are my ggggrandparents. One of their sons was George W. WHITMIRE. He is my gggrandfather. He was married to Mary Smith. I have been told, that after Christopher died in 1868, his wife, Nancy, made an application for a widows pention. I would like to know where this application is located. I know it was in Forsyth Co., but I do not know which area of the court papers that I should search.
