    3. Thanks for posting the record. It will give us an idea of where they were living. I was told by a researcher of this line, Ben Garrett, that their property was on both sides of the river and therefore they were in both Hall and Forsyth Cos. Their property is supposedly under Lake Lanier. It would be interesting to find the deeds where the land was sold to get the exact location. Were Garretts still on that land when Lake Lanier was planned? They were probably in the same place in 1840 Forsyth Co as they were in 1820 and 1830 when they show up in HAll Co, maybe just moved across the river into a new home or did the lines change?? Just an interesting questions that pops up when I see different records, some from Forsyth and some from Hall.
