I would like to set the record straight for any one new out there. I do not do family searching for pay !!!!!!!! Forsyth County History is my hobby. I have tons of resources because I am old, have done this a long time and worked hard at it at times. I will do lookups as time permits from records in my house, but ........... I work for a living.......I operate a water utility company. (I have 5 children.) (I am a politician)(I go to my mother's a lot and yes my portable will go that far - that's Bonnye Leary as in 100 years of Forsyth Marriages).............. I can not necessarily take calls during business hours or on some evenings. To get the best response from me. Be specific and brief, but give me enough to work with. Please head your post to [email protected] Subject - Donna Lookup - Your Surname Here. This will help you keep from getting lost in my E-mail file cabinet. It is better to ask me 30 short questions than one long involved one. I have a short attention span (I get interrupted a lot) I love Forsyth County History. I like the stories better than the begats. Send me all the stories about Forsyth families you want to. For an idea of the resources I have in my house see the bottom of my Forsyth County History page at: <A HREF="http://hometown.aol.com/mflp/histlnx.html">Forsyth County History</A> or http://hometown.aol.com/mflp/histlnx.html I am not related to any of the ca 42000 people whose tombstones I copied, nor to any marriages earlier than 1975. And I am only related to one person on all those censuses I indexed from 1834 to 1900. Grief Williams on the 1840 Forsyth County Census was a brother to Freeman Williams (my line) who is on the 1840 Gilmer Census.
