Donna, Honestly, I don't know when or if any of the SANDERS or CARTER'S were in Forsyth Co at all, no one has been able to tell me where my ancestor came from, we all seem to have the same info that came from a book written in 1933 by a Travis Parker. I believe he was a researcher for the Savannah Genealogy Assn(?) at that time. Recently a "cousin" sent me info that their side of the family thought Elias SANDERS came from NC, but no one knows for sure, that i've contacted. If they are or their ancestor's were there at all, it was before 1800's.
