    2. Robert and Nancy P. MARTIN of Forsyth County are said to be the parents of Mahala MARTIN, born 1820 in NC. Mahala MARTIN married John J. BLAYLOCK in Forsyth Co, GA on Dec 6, 1846. They are in the 1850 census in Forsyth County and 1860 found them in Jackson County, GA with children: Isom Robert, James Lewis, Julia, Francis, and Pinkston. Mahala's oldest son, Isom Robert BLAYLOCK, married his first cousin Rachel Martin. It is possible that Mahala is the younger sister to my William J. (1818-1860) and Elinder MARTIN (1815-1862). To find out if Mahala is indeed a relative to my MARTIN family I need to find out who Rachel MARTIN's parents are to see if anything fits. Unfortunately, this is all I have to go on at this time. I do not know to whom Wm. J. and Elinder called parents. They both lived in Forsyth County and both married there before moving on to Gwinnett County, GA in 1858. I do not even know where Isom Robert BLAYLOCK and Rachel married except it was in GA. Ellen
