In 1860 my gggrandfather died. I know his children received shares of his land as I found the land deeds where they sold the property to their step father in the 1870s. I would assume that where there isn't a will I could find missing information like his married daughter(s) last name. Where do I look for these records and what are they called: A return? Ellen
