I am still trying to learn the background of Margaret Martin, a widow with 3 children, who won Forsyth land in the 1832 Lottery. She was living in Forsyth in later censuses. In the 1820s she was living in Hall Co., GA, and I believe that she and the three children were listed in the 1820 Abbeville SC, census. The only Abbeville marriage I can find where Margaret married a Martin is a Margaret Green married a Johnson or Jackson(?) Martin. Question- who was she married to and who was she possibly connected to in Hall and Forsyth? Any help is appreciated. Paul WhitePaul@aol.com
