Sam. My Dad entered the service in WWII from Jacksonville, FL. When he got out, we went to Gainesville, Alachua County, FL and he recorded his discharge there. When we moved to GA, I don't know if he recorded it in DeKalb Co., but when we moved to Forsyth Co., he recorded it with the Clerk of Superior Court.
