Added to the message below: Abraham HARRIS sold this land to Milford D. HARRIS on Dec. 2, 1871. Does anyone have anything on this family?? Are there any searchers for HARRIS , in South Forsyth County, around 1900? I would like to identify and place a marker for 3 Harris children buried in two graves near the St. Marlo Country Club House . These children died of Diphtheria ( one a day earlier than the other two) about the time of my fathers birth, (1903) and may have been of some kin to the WHITNEY family.

Hi folks, I haven't done this for some months now, so will renew the offer. I am in Sacramento CA. We have some statewide archives here that might have helpful information if someone is looking for the family black sheep who left and migrated to CA (if you can imagine that!) I am generally more successful with things that can be placed in a time and area framework, like death dates and places and obits and such. There is also a state wide property owner list for about 1970 on. Feel free to ask about other possibilities. I can't get to birth or probate records. This is a no charge thing, unless you want to cover stamps and copy machine charges. ron in CA
