I descend from her first marriage, but have cousins from the second also. I would love to swap info if we're talking about the same family. (My Aunt Claudia, who passed away in December, did genealogy, and was a Bramlett from a prior marriage of Miles Henry, maybe Anna Ray.) Thanks, Shelby Baltzley

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ec.2ADI/1307.2.1.1 Message Board Post: You are correct again. I got in a hurry and forgot that it was James and Williams' father who served in the Revolutionary War. I just looked at the 1870 census of Cross Roads Dist., Cherokee Co., GA and I also see this Thomas Fowler family on page 48, household 319. Thomas is 55 and Hannah is 50 and both were born in SC. William Marcus Fowler and Lucinda "Lucy" Elizabeth (nee Nix) Fowler are on page 47, household 317 and between William and Thomas is Valentine Nix, who I have assumed is a younger brother of Williams' wife Lucy. This Thomas Fowler is not in my database and I have never done any research on him. This gives me something new to look for in SC. I do not have any information on James and Williams' parents' name.
