    3. Hi Peggy, I hope I didn't misunderstand your question. To get the census listed above, scroll down to the bottom of Donna's email. Just under her name is a line begining with "HREF...." click on that and it will open your browser to the exact spot of the census ... then either scroll down and read the whole thing ... or use the "Find" on the tool bar to spot a particular surname...if you are new to the process, suggest trying it both ways. Good luck! ron PS: I just used the ":Find " tool and found a Stone in there... how 'bout that ? At 09:02 PM 9/7/99 -0500, you wrote: >Not knowing a whole lot? 1. Re: [GAFORSYT-L] Donna Look-Up Henderson
    2. I do not find Cyrus and Temperance Henderson having tombstones. They appear on the 1850 and 1860 census as you know. On the 1860 census, they were censused in the middle of people who lived in the Town of Cumming. I did not find them in the 1870 census. The heaviest Henderson burials were at Shady Grove (northeast part of county, not Shakerag), New Harmony (close to the Cherokee line) and Concord (close to Dawson county line.

    1. [GAFORSYT-L] Donna Parrish Lookup - ?
    2. I would like to set the record straight for any one new out there. I do not do family searching for pay !!!!!!!! Forsyth County History is my hobby. I have tons of resources because I am old, have done this a long time and worked hard at it at times. I will do lookups as time permits from records in my house, but ........... I work for a living.......I operate a water utility company. (I have 5 children.) (I am a politician)(I go to my mother's a lot and yes my portable will go that far - that's Bonnye Leary as in 100 years of Forsyth Marriages).............. I can not necessarily take calls during business hours or on some evenings. To get the best response from me. Be specific and brief, but give me enough to work with. Please head your post to [email protected] Subject - Donna Lookup - Your Surname Here. This will help you keep from getting lost in my E-mail file cabinet. It is better to ask me 30 short questions than one long involved one. I have a short attention span (I get interrupted a lot) I love Forsyth County History. I like the stories better than the begats. Send me all the stories about Forsyth families you want to. For an idea of the resources I have in my house see the bottom of my Forsyth County History page at: <A HREF="http://hometown.aol.com/mflp/histlnx.html">Forsyth County History</A> or http://hometown.aol.com/mflp/histlnx.html I am not related to any of the ca 42000 people whose tombstones I copied, nor to any marriages earlier than 1975. And I am only related to one person on all those censuses I indexed from 1834 to 1900. Grief Williams on the 1840 Forsyth County Census was a brother to Freeman Williams (my line) who is on the 1840 Gilmer Census.

    1. [GAFORSYT-L] Glover, Forsyth Co Ga
    2. Hi, Here are my Glovers: Augustus L Glover b mid 1800's in Ga +Evaline Venable b abt 1860 Forsyth Co Ga Edward Augustus Glover b 1892 Forsyth Co Ga(my gfather) Ollie A Glover m Charles D Allen William Doc Glover m Maude Dinsmore Mary Glover m Inman Streetman Gordon Glover m Georgia Glover(his cousin) Other info: In 1850 Forsyth Co census Augustus L Glover b abt 1823 is married to Evaline Bagley with one child Adeline Glover 1 yr old. They are in the same household as Sanford Venable married to Adeline Bagley with a son Richard Venable. Abt 1870 Augustus L and Evaline moved to Whitfield Co Ga then to Arkansas. I thought that Augustus L was the father of my Augustus L but now I think that one of Augustus L's brothers who remained in Ga is the father of my Augustus L. I think Evaline Venable who married my Augustus L is the daughter of Sanford Venable and Adeline Bagley Venable. If there is anyone who is connected to these Glovers and can help me sort these Glover brothers out I would appreciate it very much. Thanks, Pat
