Yes, this could be. Although I am not related to this family, a former genealogical friend of mine (she died) was descended from Sharpshires, and her mother's name was Shropshire. They were from the Summerville, GA area. The name stuck with me for some reason. Maybe so I could answer your question :-) Lynn
