    3. In the the obit of my 50 year old GGG grandmother Amanda Wade WILLIAMS which mentions the death of her 19 year old nephew John (W.) WADE and the pending death of her 77 year old mother Lucy WADE. In the 1870 Floyd County Census, page 128B, Lucy and John were living with Lucy's son Joshua L. WADE. In the 1860 Floyd County Georgia Census, page 191, Amanda WILLIAMS is with her husband P. R. (Pleman) WILLIAMS and daughter Frances A. E. (Annie Elizabeth) WILLIAMS. Pleman was born in Jul 1823 in <Cass> County GA and died on 15 May 1908 in Floyd County, Georgia. He was a carpenter, farmer, Methodist and Civil War vet. He served in Company C of the 1st Regiment Georgia State Line, enlisting at "Fort Infantry", Floyd County, Georgia. Second wife was Mary Jane Brewer, m. on 12 Dec 1876 in Floyd Co GA. For 15 years I have not been able to find his in the 1850 census, find his marriage to Amanda, or determine who his parents were. Does this ring bell with anyone? Lynn Farrer
