Who is Cotton Duke? What do you have on Charles Duke. I'm not sure if the one you mentioned is my GGgrandfather of one of his descendants. My Charles is Father to James W Duke married to Minerva Hightower. They are the parents to Allen Gregory Duke married to Julia Ann Nettles (1866 in Rome) Allen and Julia Ann are my Dads' parents. Lona, all of these stories and pictures are in the Floyd Co., GA Heritage book. The submitters are: Gloria Smith Ramsaur, David Axley, Myra Axley Smith, and Douglas Parker Reid. G-G-Grandchildren of James and Minerva Duke. Charles was married to Nancy Elliot. He had brothers, Thomas and Henry Duke. Cotton's name is Wilson Leonard Duke, son of Wilson Lumpkin Duke.
