Hello out there -- sorry if I'm being a pest, and I appreciate all the help I have received from all of you. If anybody has access to 1920/30 census records, could you please look up Roscoe SMITH, b. about 1883, his wife Ida, b. about 1890, and any children. On the 1910 census they were listed in the Rome District, Floyd County. Thank you in advance. Kitty Johnson

Kitty: I could not find a "Roscoe" but, in the 1930 census, there was a Francis SMITH, age 47, and his wife Ida M., age 40, living @ #10 Forrest Street in Rome. They had a daughter Virginia, age 10, and Francis' occupation was as a barber. All 3 had been born in Georgia and the parents of Francis and Ida had been born in Georgia. In "Georgia Deaths, 1919 - 1998" there is a Francis R. Smith, age 85, who died in 1968 in Floyd County. All the ages are right. I could not find the couple in the 1920 census.
