The Polk County Cemetery Preservation Committee needs your help with locating the property owners of several cemeteries. Please go to the "Help Needed" section of their web site at <A HREF="http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ga/county/polk/CemPres.html"> http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ga/county/polk/CemPres.html</A> Would you like to see a new cemetery book for Polk County? Most of the cemetery surveys were done in the 1960s & 70s for the old books. If interested, then take the simple poll and let us know what you think. (It is a blind poll and no one will know how you voted.) The cemeteries page has also been updated with more photos of the cemeteries. Still have more to upload and hope to get them done this week. If you know of other cemeteries that are not listed, please be sure to let us know. Our next meeting will be on Saturday, July 19 at the Cedartown Library beginning at 10 a.m. If you live close enough, we would like for you to attend the meeting. Doris Robbins
