Hello -- My Polk County brick wall is William Hopgood STONE, b. 1822 in Virginia (per census records), married Mary "Mollie" Kate GARNER May 11, 1848, in Polk County. They lived out their lives in Polk County and had 8 children, all of whom lived and died in Polk County Have never been able to trace this man and would appreciate any information. My mother and her ancestors (and me) for many years were all from Cedartown/Esom Hill and I have plenty of good information to share if anyone is interested.
