Hi, He was born Grover Cleveland Walters on May 6, 1885 in Chattooga County. He came to Rome to work for Walker Electric Company while Shorter College was being built. In 1910 he joined the Rome Railway and Light Company, (GA Power.) He married Maggie Lee Selman of Floyd Co., GA on Jan.16,1910.
