    3. Hi, He was born Grover Cleveland Walters on May 6, 1885 in Chattooga County. He came to Rome to work for Walker Electric Company while Shorter College was being built. In 1910 he joined the Rome Railway and Light Company, (GA Power.) He married Maggie Lee Selman of Floyd Co., GA on Jan.16,1910. They had seven children, Kathryn Ovelle, William Hoyt, Margaret Amanda, Ethel Elizabeth, Sarah Frances, Moses Selman, and Grover Cleveland Walters. I found these mentions on Walters in my Heritage book: William Walters, born May 10, 1932, married Ethel Louise Johnson Grover Cleveland "Bud" Walters, son of William Hoyt Walters, 1885-1988.     3. Lona, all of these stories and pictures are in the Floyd Co., GA Heritage book. The submitters are: Gloria Smith Ramsaur, David Axley, Myra Axley Smith, and Douglas Parker Reid. G-G-Grandchildren of James and Minerva Duke. Charles was married to Nancy Elliot. He had brothers, Thomas and Henry Duke. Cotton's name is Wilson Leonard Duke, son of Wilson Lumpkin Duke.     3. I recognize all the names you mentioned except for Cotton Duke. What pics do you have? If it is the pics from Willie Mozell Aycocks manuscript,(Journey Into The Past) I have those. Who is Cotton Duke? What do you have on Charles Duke. I'm not sure if the one you mentioned is my GGgrandfather of one of his descendants. My Charles is Father to James W Duke married to Minerva Hightower. They are the parents to Allen Gregory Duke married to Julia Ann Nettles (1866 in Rome) Allen and Julia Ann are my Dads' parents.
