Hi Lena, I'm going to the courthouse one day this week and possibly to the Historical Society to do a look up for someone else. I will look to see what I can find for you and let you know. My time is limited as I work full time but I'll let you know if I find anything. I will also take pictures of headstones if you want them. Just let me know. Dear Pat, I cannot thank you enough! If there is any information on it, I would be highly interested in knowing if Thomas Oscar changed his name from Willaford to Sprayberry himself or if perhaps his wife 're-took' the name of Sprayberry after his death which occurred before the 1910 census was taken. He is buried over in DeKalb County in the Masters Family Cemetery where many of our Sprayberry's (& obviously my Masters family members) are buried, but no dates are on his grave marker. I would love pictures of the tombstones, when you have time. I do not know where everyone is buried but do know of the following: Cathie MAYFIELD Peppers & her husband W. R. (do not know what the initials stand for) 'Plunk' Peppers are buried in Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery; Highway 74, Downtown Tyrone. They share a gravestone. In the same cemetery are buried Cousin Josie & her husband Pomp; Cousin Marvin 'Bud' Mayfield (15 June 1917 - 13 March 1967) & his wife Edna has a shared tombstone with him but the only date for hers, according to the 1999 survey (& I cannot find a death date for her on Ancestry) is 1916. In Sharon Memorial Garden on old Highway 74, Tyrone, Georgia: Sanford G. Mayfield 1906 - 1999 Mildred G. Mayfied 1912 - 1984 (Shared Tombstone) There is also a Marvin L. Mayfield, 1940 - 1997, who could be a son of Sanford & Mildred based solely on the fact that Josie & Pomp had a son named Marvin in 1918 & I figured perhaps they named him after Sanford's brother. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you, & please take your time (I am in no rush :) ). Sincerely, Lena Patricia <tootles525@att.net> wrote: Hi Lena, I'm going to the courthouse one day this week and possibly to the Historical Society to do a look up for someone else.
