I hope the list administrator doesn't mind my starting up a roll call here. As CC of the Fayette County site, I'd like to see who is here and what surnames you are researching. I am currently transcribing the Direct Index to Deeds & Mortgages to 1899 for Fayette County. They are on the new www.fayetteclerk.com site but it will be easier for people to search if I put them on the site and when I am finished I can also sort them by Grantee as they are listed by Grantor on their site. If you go to the home page of the site found here: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gafayett/index.html and click on Deeds & Land Records, you will find the links to the index. I am uploading R surnames today and am working on H, W and Mc. If I know what surnames are actively being researched by list members I can get your lists up quicker!
