I do have information on Octavia Buck Smith(Minton's Wife) and her family,I also have some photos of Octavia and Minton, also of Eva and her sisters, Herma and Lona. I have been trying to find more information on his father William Morgan Smith.Do you know if he was in the Civil War? I am not old enough to have met Minton but my siblings remember him and knew the story of the fireplace. If I can help please let me know.
